That green cyan fencing and the red and white barricades are new and kind of disturb the view a little but that's not your fault. The red roofed building with the portrait of Mao contrasts well with a rare blue sky. Good sharpness and the people animate the scene. Tfs!

Always nice to look at chilly snow scenes like this on a hot summer's day of 34c in the southern hemisphere. The statue looks as though it's holding out a hand testing for snowflakes, or to hold a passing bird, but I am sure they have long since flown south. Tfs!

There are so many sweet little towns in Italy that no one has ever heard of. Good sharpness and well composed using the rule of thirds. Excellent sharpness and nice warm cold color contrasts. The grazing sheep are making the most of the green pastures before the winter rains set in. Tfs!

The dual wheel-tracks meandering through the heath and down into the saddle then back up the green meadows and through the coniferous forest add a lot of depth and perspective. Good sharpness and the bare rocky peak provides a strong focal point. Tfs!

I also visited Bran castle and stayed overnight in the town before heading back to Brasov. It was Halloween when I visited and they had a lot of carved pumpkins placed all around the castle. Good sharpness and punchy light contrasts. Tfs!

The abandoned house occupies a prominent position atop the hill and overlooking the sea. Good sharpness and terrific warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky / sea and the reddish orange terracotta tiles of the roof. It does not look as though it would take much to repair this house. The dark green pine tree at right balances the composition. Tfs!

Reminds me of the old Bellevue Hotel with its iron lace verandas. It was demolished by Joh Bjelke Peresen for the new 1977 State Parliament house high rise, visible at right in the link below. Just recently the Executive building was demolished as part of the Queen's Wharf redevelopment. It will look like Darling Harbour! Good sharpness and perspective. Tfs!

Missed this one. I was lucky enough to see a rare Canadian mountain goat near Jasper in Western Canada. But for a lot of British people this might be as close as they ever get to see one. Tfs!
