Great PaulVDV 2009-09-24 8:20

Hello Pulezan,
Years ago I've also climbed to the top of Huashan. I remember it took me six hours but I'll never forget
the great views.
This picture shows the beauty and the spectacular side of the climb very well.
What I will also always remember is that the excursion to the top (not the one by cable car) is made by lots of Chinese people: families, older people and children and certainly not only by experienced mountain climbers (as might be thought by some people who see this photo).
Best regards, Paul

Yes, indeed the mountain is full of people of any age. I met children, yes children of maybe 8-9 years old even on this wooden path which you can see on the picture. The sense for danger in China is apparently very different than in the west.
The rest of the mountain is much easyer to walk like is visible on the link to my webpage.
