Great Porteplume 2019-11-06 4:23

Bonjour Beverley,

典his wonderful visit, to a place we might not have considered...
Exactly why I thought it would be a great experience for everyone. I remember Christine in the museum, amazed and admiring each part of Krller-Mller... So glad you felt that way too! :)

Great photo, bright and rather sharp, maybe a bit too tightly framed (again) but maybe it痴 your way to look at it and it makes the difference with other photographers.

Talking To Porteplume: Moving Art

Thank you, dear Viviane.
I hope you are not upset at my public appreciation of your planning.

Yes, I quite often come in close on a subject.
I really didn't want anything to distract from the shape of the floating art.

With the previous shots, in the museum, (where people are coloured like the Van Gogh paintings) you wondered if the framing was too tight. If you notice, the figures are leaning, a little, to one side. I tried to make it look as if they are leaning on the border for support. It is a fact, that people often lean as they scrutinise a piece of art.

Thanks again.

I hope you are both well, Bev

Not upset at all dear Beverley!
In fact I was quite satisfied that we could let you see so much in such a short visit, even if I was quite stressed from time to time, afraid that some of you would not share my thoughts about that especially lovely surrounding as the Veluwe...
But really, I got such lovely comments that i now think it couldn’t have been better!

Thank you & Amiti駸,
