The thin layer of sea fog determines the special atmosphere of the image.

Marvelous how the old wreck "rises" from the grey/brown "mushy" shoreline(long shutter speed, I guess), and how many birds found a prominent post to look for a catch.
bravo for this beautiful outcome.

Hello Paulo, that arid coast in Namibia is so called because of the numerous wrecks found here. Many ships sank in that area due to the thick fog and the reefs. Big sea lions colonies live in the park. You should modify your photo note : it is south west Africa not south east. Fine colors, good image quality, regards.

excellent end result with this moody shot. the shipwreck itself is cool, then you add in the long exposure and the result is perfect. well executed. cheers

Hello Paulo,
The waves and the haze partly hide the wreck and create a strange and slightly eerie atmosphere. The birds and their nests contribute to this peculiar mood. The many tones of largely grey underscore the atmosphere of death and destruction. This must have been a remarkable place and you captured it in a fascinating composition.

A beautiful view of the old ship wreck, what else can you expect at a place with a name like this. The silky effect on the waves and the cloudy sky add a mysterious mood.
