Photographer's Note

These young monks were touring the great Shwezigon Paya,a monument which can be compared to the Shwedagon in Yangon. Recently it has been renovated, and stands as the most striking zedi of Bagan.

The original temple was created in the 11th century by Anawhrata.

Here I was attracted by many assets framed by a graceful fence. The golden Buddha in a niche, the three monks on the left which had direct sunlight and the one on the far right which was inside the fence and stayed in the dark. Actually it a symmetrical picture but the symmetry is broken by the monks themselves.
