Photographer's Note

In my journey through the old town of Regla, built in honor of the black virgin that governs its entrance today and that was brought by the Spanish sailors several centuries ago, I continued to find doors. Some, like this, cross the entrance to an old house, curious in its decoration and in the balance of its wood. But it is an invisible door, which no longer works but remains as a memory of its space and function. The decorative detail, close to the frame, is still a more beautiful motif, above all, the dislodged wood... An indelible memory.
