Photographer's Note

The island's of St. Kitts and Nevis are unique in the eastern Caribbean for their preservation of local culture. The examples of colonial architecture are astounding, and whilst there are many ruins, lots of the buildings remain in tact. Many of the old plantations have been turned into inns. At the northern end of St. Kitts one can see from a great distance this plantation which at present is unused.
