Photographer's Note

Founded about 1118 by Simon de Neauphle, the abbey of Vaulx de Cernay becomes cistercian in 1147.
She was with her apogee in the middle of the XIIIー century, but fell in ruins after the wars of religion. Restored in the XVIIー century, the abbey and its dependences were sold as national goods to the Revolution, its buildings were used as career.

I publish a series in homage to our friend Steven (Curioso).
