Two buildings, a photo from Barcelona, Catalonia

M疽 im疊enes de la zona del Forum en Barcelona. Esta foto est� tomada en la esquina de la Avenida Diagonal con el Edificio Forum, obra de los arquitectos suizos Jacques Herzog y Pierre de Meuron. Tambi駭 se puede ver el Hotel Barcelona Princess, obra de ﾒscar Tusquets. Ambos ya los he mostrado desde otros 疣gulos en posts previos.

El WORKSHOP 1 es la misma zona pero desde un punto de vista m疽 alejado, y con un 疣gulo m疽 abierto, donde se puede ver la Avenida Diagonal.

El WORKSHOP 2 es un plano m疽 cerrado de la misma esquina del WS 1, para ver con m疽 detalle las texturas de este asombroso edificio. El fotrafo reflejado es mi auto retrato.

More images of the zone of the Forum in Barcelona. This photo is taken on the corner of the Diagonal Avenue by the Building Forum, work of the Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. Also can seen the Barcelona Princess Hotel, work of ﾒscar Tusquets. Both already I have showed them from other angles in posts previous.

The WORKSHOP 1 is the same zone but from a more far point of view, and with a more opened angle, where it is possible to see the Diagonal Avenue.

The WORKSHOP 2 is a more closed plane of the same corner of the WS 1, to see with more details the textures of this amazing building. The reflected photographer is my self portrait.

Hi Josep - two very different styles of architecture in this shot. The POV is good as it brings both of these buildings together in the shot, and the WS versions help define the size of these buildings as well as giving a more general overview of the area. Good work.

An original combination thanks to a tough POV. The closer one of the buildings is reduced to a colorful abstraction of just two surfaces. That puts this closer to 'abstracts' than 'architectural' but that is ok with me.

Me sorprendes con tus fotos del Fum. Reconozco otra vez que no es un lugar que me atraiga en especial dentro de la ciudad, pero a佖 as� tus fotos consiguen sacarle un qu� especial a este lugar.
Unos puntos de vista atrevidos e imaginativos.

Hola Josep,

｡Una foto muy azul! Me gusta la forma un poco abstracta que hacen los edificios entre s�. Me gusta tambi駭 co contrastal el fuerte azul del edificio, con el suave tono azul del cielo.
Al ver la forma de los edificios se me ha ocurrido otro punto de vista que no pretende mejorar tu foto, porque en realidad es otra imagen distinta, es como un juego con las l匤eas, a ver si te gusta. Gracias por esta, Josep. Un abrazo,

Your frame is very well merged these buildings from two famous architects. Your clever POV is gives good diagonal layout of buildings. Another shot from you which is high in graphical qualities. It's a wonderful abstract perfectly framed relying more or less on the rules of thirds - a third grey, a third dark blue, a third sky. Well done on this.

This is a wonderful abstract look at this architecture. The colours and textures work well here and the underside of the structure seems to be reflecting water. The catch of light is mesmerising. I like the composition too, with the large building in the distance, to balance the scene. Well done.

Yo por llevar la contrario he de decir que el Forum me atrae, sus atevidas contrucciones desafian a la arquitectura tradicional catalana y le aporta un cierto aire de Down Town como tiene todas las grandes ciudades mundiales. Concretamente en este foto lo que m疽 puedo valorar es un punto de vista realmente bueno. Los dos edificios se unen en uno solo y creo que se crea una combinaci muy original.
PD: Esta semana a Mallorca (1-3) y ver疽 como marca la Gallina Maxi.

Nos muestras un trabajo de tendencia abstracta, con un gran juego de l匤eas y formas, la escena tiene pocos colores pero son bastantes para que creen una perfecta combinaci, me gusta la perspectiva, muy tuya ;-) la sencillez de la imagen es su fuerza, buen trabajo amigo.

Le cadrage aurait pu 黎re un peu plus serr�. Le WS sugg鑽e que cela change pas mal l'ambiance. Malgr� tout, c'est tr鑚 graphique, tr鑚 moderne, tr鑚 urbain... Int駻essant.
