Hello friends and colleagues, today I propose a view of a street in the town of Elciego, known by the Hotel Marques de Riscal Designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry. I hope you like it, then some letters about the villa.
Elciego (in Euskera Eltziego or Zieko1 and officially Elciego) is a municipality in the province of ﾁlava, Basque Country (Spain).

The socioeconomic system of Elciego revolves around the world of wine, whether in viticulture, in the elaboration or in the emerging tourism that was born linked to wine. In Elciego vine growers, small wineries of harvesters, family wineries with incipient dedication to aging, medium and large wineries coexist, offering all this set a wide range of styles ranging from the spoiled wines of the year or harvesters to the so famous wines of today high expression

Of great tourist and economic relevance for the town, in relation to the culture of wine, is the construction in the town of the singular Hotel Marqu駸 de Riscal, annex to the wineries of the same name, work of the Canadian architect Frank Gehry.

Hello Angel,
There is a nice view along the narrow street towards the tower, which in this case is quite well placed in the center of the photo. The walls along the route offer many fine details, including the pink flowers seen in the foreground. It's a technically excellent photo with fine colours and light.

A lovely view down the narrow and empty alley in this town. The play of light and shadow on both sides of the street is appealing and the fa軋des guide us very nicely into the photo and towards the narrow tower in the distance. Very well captured.

Hi Angel
A great capture of an old alleyway - a place to put on the 'must visit' list which is detailed to your best under shade. The tower is there to firmly act as an anchor point, but can feel its loneliness though due to siesta time perhaps. Wise inclusion of the bloom to colour boost its dominant brown tone. Excellent capture and tx for sharing.

Hola Angel,
I have never heard about Elciego and there is Gehry hotel there! As I can see, Gehry liked Basque Country. Nice view of this narrow street. Excellent light management.

Hello Angel,
I have enjoyed the odd bottle of Marques de Riscal so I am very interested to see where it comes from. It looks to be a delightful place for a stroll. Fine long perspective along the empty street with the church tower making a very good focal point. Good management of the light and shadow contrast with excellent colours and sharpness and some very nicely rendered textural details.

wow, Spain has so many of these quaint, charming, old picturesque little towns/cities. It would be hard to visit them all :) this one looks old, and peaceful. I'd love to walk around with my camera here. glad you added in the light fixture on the left. sweet views in this shadow/light combo

Me gusta la vista de esta calle angosta enmarcando la torre al fondo, d疣dole un bonito destaque! La iluminaci es excelente, lo que les da muy buenos colores y texturas a las interesantes fachadas de las casas. Las flores coloridas son un bell﨎imo detalle de la composici! Muy buen trabajo!

Hola Angel,

You have completely controlled your photograph and how viewers will see it.
This narrow street, with tall buildings either side, acts remarkably well as a funnel, skilfully guiding us to the focal tower.
You have coped well with the contrasts of light and shadows and have used lovely flower features in the f/g.

beautiful composition. Both sides of this narrow street contribute some attractive elements to decorate the scene and of course it culminates in the tower in the very centre of the image.
I admire very much the well balanced exposition since the shadows were quite strong and the contrasts were so challenging to handle.
You did a fantastic job with it.

Hello Angel,
At first I wondered if the houses in this deserted street were still inhabited and the answer is yes. The street is deserted but all the houses are in a good condition and on the foreground we can see that someone did the effort to place beautiful, colourful flowers on the balcony.
Beautiful with the shadows of the roofs on the pavement.
Wonderful view of the church tower seen through the narrow street.
