Along the Rhine

Two weeks ago I posted a photo showing the Mittlere Rheinbr�cke in the centre of Basel. Here痴 a photo that was taken from the bridge itself and it shows the Unterer Rheinweg, which runs along the river.

Beautiful harbor on the Rhine with taxi boats and coastal architecture. Nice part of town.

Hi Lars

A good downward pov on the Rhine River from high above, with excellent sharpness and framing. Perspective has been well managed. Superb colour and saturation and the people animate the scene. Tfs!

De flesta husen h舐 l舅gs vattnet 舐 v舁digt fina, speciellt det stora n舐mast oss 舐 riktigt praktfullt. Synd att betongv臠gen och trappan nedanf 舐 ganska fula. De st intrycket lite. Men det kunde du ju inte ga n虍ot 蚯. Bilden 舐 utm舐kt, med perfekt sk舐pa och vackra f舐ger, och de sm� b蚯arna fyller nedre hnet fint.

Hello Lars,

I like the nice triangular shadow, in the f/g, seeming to support the flags, creating a different angle. They are an interesting introduction to the scene, which flows very naturally from this point.
All the features are sharp and there is a very, calm, social character emanating from the scene. The boats, the swans and the unhurried or seated figures create this mood.

Good angle for showing old buildings by the river. As the nearest one is on higher ground it has quite massive appearance. The flag of Basel Stadt is well placed.

Lars, the photo gives a glimpse to the local architecture. The park and the stairs along the Rhine river form a perfect meeting point. The city dwellers enjoy the sunny autumn day. Fine colors, good image quality, regards.

Hi Lars,
great idea to show the view from this bridge.
This spot is so photogenic and I suppose frequently missed. The houses are so stylish and you have a pleasant for the eye asymmetry here with one of the houses standing out. Nice sky to decorate the view, also flags and boats add attractive touches here.

I like how your shot takes me from the Top Right, then directly down to the bottom left. My eyes just naturally progress that way through the scene, very effective. striking light, you couldn't have asked for anything better than this. sweet
