Photographer's Note

My partner and myself woke up early on Wednesday morning, just so we could get up to catch the tide in at Forder. We usually get photos there when the tide is out, and Forder isn't quite as pretty at that time, with a lot of mud around instead of water.

Forder is a village outside the town of Saltash in Cornwall, England. Forder has been designated a conservation area and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. People visit Forder for recreational purposes. There are quite a few public footpaths and bridleways nearby where you can walk through some of the conservation areas.

Looking over Forder is Trematon Castle (which is to the left and up from this view of Forder). Nearby is Forder Viaduct and also Churchtown Farm Community Nature Reserve.

As you can see by this photo, there is also wildlife to see around Forder such as mute swans, mallards, little egrets, shelducks, kingfishers and many other birds.

Too bad about the quality but there is only so much I can do with 200kb.
