Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I do like to see old buildings being reused rather than being demolished. They can usually be put to good use and they stand out as individuals.

Today, I will show you three examples of what I mean.

This is an old watermill situated near the river at Appleby. It has been taken over by an artist where he now lives, uses part of the building as a studio and part as a retail area. There is still a lot of work to do but ... a little at a time will keep the building secure.

My workshops will show buildings that I have encountered in different places but both follow the theme of change of use.
The first here is an old school building.
The second here was an old pub or coaching inn.

I hope you enjoy the theme, Bev :-)
