Photographer's Note

This was taken a few years ago and was one of my first efforts at trying to capture the beauty of still water reflections with my first digital camera. It remains one of my favourites from the Lake District.

The stillness of the water and brooding cloud formations looked promising. My patience was rewarded when the sun broke through and momentarily lit the boat and trees to the right and presented me with the scene I had hoped might develop if I waited long enough. It makes those early morning trips worth every hour of lost sleep.

Thanks

Robin
