Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

Please click on The Old Schoolhouse to see the photograph much clearer and larger.

This is the Old Schoolhouse at Mungrisdale in the Lake District. It is an example of a lovely old building which has been 'recycled'. Obviously, from its name, it was once the house where the school teacher lived but, since there is no longer a school in Mungrisdale, it has been renovated, refurbished and is now a private residence.

The house was built in 1835 from locally sourced stone and is now a listed building.

I will show a second view of the house as a workshop here .

Thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
