Good Morning Everyone,

This is Christ Church in Oxford, a most beautiful building.

Christ Church was founded nearly five hundred years ago, part of Renaissance movement to improve education and train young men for an active life in the church or the state. The first steps were taken in 1524 by Cardinal Wolsey, then Henry VIII痴 chief advisor; he planned to build a new, Cardinal痴 College 素or the increase of good letters and vertue. The money for it was to come from closing some monasteries, including the St Frideswide priory in Oxford, whose site was to provide the nucleus for the new college. - Internet

I spent the time exploring Oxford with my husband Len and our two friends Viviane and her husband Chris. WE were following a trail which took us to the locations of the sites where episodes of Morse had been filmed. It was a great way to explore the city and took us to a few out-of-the-way places.
Of course, this wasn't such a place, it is famous and well visited but a spectacular location for filming.

I will add a second view of the building as a workshop. I was hesitant as to which to use as my main post but I think the f/g shrubs just gave this the edge.

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)
