Photographer's Note

Whenever I see scenes such as this one of Glen Coe, I can't help but think of the movie Braveheart. Yes, I know, there's no evidence that William Wallace ever visited the Highlands, even though Braveheart was filmed almost exclusively there. And yes, I know that Braveheart is nowhere near an accurate representation of the Scottish Wars of Independence. But for good or ill, Braveheart is what most non-Britons think of when we see this sort of scenery. Of course it didn't help that I had the Braveheart soundtrack playing in the car that morning. :)

Taken from the road on my way back to the Clachaig Inn after a lovely sunrise, of which I have not posted nearly enough pictures. But hopefully I'll remedy that in the future. I've been very busy with a new job the past month or so, but hopefully things will settle down fairly soon.
