Scary thought!!! Was the man in the foreground standing in a shadow, and the other 2 in the sun, to get that lighting effect? Or did you use a filter? Interesting POV and composition! -Jenn

Fantastic shot Peter,
The pof and the dof are fantastic, the depth is really great the man in front in shadow, the other in colour and the strong behind. Very good photo I like it very much. Good job

this looks cool! excellent composition, great effect with the guy in the shadow, very good details, including his fishing rod. sky looks nice too. (the shadow(?) in the bottom left is a bit distracting)
congrats!
p.s. guessing lakefront promenade park? (by etobicoke)

You polution series is very sad and illustrative. And Canada is certainly not the worst place..
Here the way you put the light on the powerlines is very much underlining your message.
And the low angle putting the guy in the shadow at the level of the powerlines.. Very good imo.

anton

Peter! Love the moodiness of this shot. There's a sense of impending disaster here. It's the same feeling you've given you're last couple shots. Hey what's your PP secret on these?

Excellent moody shot. I like the interesting dark tones. The 3 figures look a bit creepy (especially the one on the front) but it fits right to the moody atmosphere. Keep doing your special PP style, make interesting and original shots :)

:)))) Great note, Peter, just grinning.... Great work. Did they really know 'bout the signs at the fence in the background? I guess, they're fishing not only for comfort.... Stunning accusal shot to our 'modern' world....

Weird light in this photo, Peter! But it's very interesting, too.
I really like the BG made of electricity pylons. It gives the shot feeling of doom future.
Very creative capture!

very well done Peter. the 2 men in the background look like they could be from intervention squads because of how they are dressed. man in front doesn't really look like a man anymore; A strong one you did build again. Your serie is quite frightening.
regards, michel.

They ar both good but I think I like this one best. Something with the rythm of the two guys in the back repeating the pose of the first guy. Three guys + three chairs is also funny. The background is like a graphic pattern in itself which makes a strong effect.

Hi, Peter. I like this one more than "Fishing 2". I think it's more dramatic. Like the colour palette.

Well I think Blinky have the right to live in the real world and not only in Simpsons series... :-)
Excellent humanized industrial landscape. The poison tones fit very well the environment. Also the fact that we do not see clearly anyone, being by the silhouette or the heavy clothes only enhance the strangeness and almost apocalyptical feeling of looking into this one.

Hmm - I like your processing here. It's quite heavy, but it works well. I think I'll have to have a go at this. It's a little like what gringofil is doing, but more neutral (haven't worked out how he does his)

I went thru your galery in search of something related to pollution and other nasty similar things and found lots of wire poles and this three eyes fish. This shot comes in the first place. (Jean-Pierre)
P.S. I will post a second choice.
