In Celles-sur-Belle, the Royal Abbey 12th 15h centuries, and the buildings of the 17th century of the architect "Fran輟is le Duc" known as "Toscane".

The priory of Notre-Dame of Celles-sur-Belles, dependent of the Lesterps abbey, became an abbey in 1137 according to the will of the Poitiers bishop, and became then a stage on the Via Turonensis of the Way of St. James. It is Louis XI who gave the essort to the abbey became royal by making reconstruct the romanesque church in a Gothic style from 1471, making more than 9 Pilgrimages in this place.
There is the 12th century only the church gate with poly-lobed arches.

CELLES-SUR-BELLE is a french commune, located in the department of Deux-S钁res of the Poitou-Charentes area, populated of 3 761 Cellois in 2009, distributed on 37.2 kmｲ, that is to say 101 hab./kmｲ.

La grandeur entre la place et l'abbaye donne d ela profondeur � la compoisition. La prise d evue permet de voir les d騁ails et les couleurs de l'architecture des immeubles et de l'abbaye. La bonne luminosit� donne de belles teintes aux couleurs de l'image. Bon weekend.

Bonjour Joel,

La rue qui passe devant l'abbaye forme une parfaite diagonale dans l'image, ce qui lui donne de la profondeur. Le clocher se dresse fi鑽ement dans un ciel superbe. Une image de grande qualit�.

tr鑚 belle approiche pour nous montrer cette abbaye avec le grsphsime sur le sol en premie rplan, le belle fleurs le beau nuage fait comme une coupole sur l'abbaye grandisoe.

Hi Joel
I really enjoy photos like this one, where you've smartly used the strong lines along the bottom to create another attractive visual.
with these lines, and the clouds, all the space inside the frame is smartly and effectively used.
the main subject isn't that bad either :)
