Photographer's Note

The Paracas pennisula juts out from the southwestern coast of Peru into the Pacific Ocean. The park is fairly isolated, but has few fishing villages in it and has a large population of sea birds and sea lions. It also has a small but interesting museum on the ancient Paracas people who inhabited this area
from about 1300 BC to 200 AD.

Cropped from a larger shot.
