Photographer's Note

The Yuyuan Bazaar district offers visitors an air of ancient Shanghai with all these pagoda-style houses. A very popular place with many stalls: Chinese culinary specialties, tea houses, traditional paintings, fans, calligraphy reproductions and many other objects ...
A very different architectural style and much more traditional than the skyscrapers of the business district of the city ... object of my last two posts on TE.
And in the evening, the places are highlighted by all these illuminations !

There's so much going on here as befits the location. Beautiful night shot with splendid colours & crowd filling scene flanked by well lit buildings. My only gripe; the brightest area on left row is over exposed with distracting hot spots. .

Hello Jean,
After the many modern high-rises, this is a completely different side of the city. The traditional architecture looks so nice on both sides of the street and it is lit beautifully by all those golden illuminations. Very well captured with great sharpness.

Nous voyons plus souvent des photos du Shanghai moderne que de l誕ncien. Mais l'architecture traditionnelle m駻ite clairement une visite.
L'architecture sort magnifiquement sous le ciel nocturne sombre.
