Farewell Detroit

Three final impressions of Detroit.

The city that was bankrupt five years ago, no longer licks its wounds but is working hard on its future. For us, the city was expressing optimism.
Of course, one day's visit does not say anything and in the suburbs the optimism will certainly be less, yet the city surprised us in a positive sense.

"GREAT IDEAS START HERE" the third photo (ws2) in today痴 small series. I am very pleased to mirror myself in this window of the Level One Bank, 1420 Washington Blvd (coordinates: 42.334208, -83.050792)

Instead of reflections you can also create with shadows nice "selfies". The second photo of the series (ws1) is made on the square between the "One Woodward" building and the "Spirit of Detroit" monument, (coordinates: 42.329081, -83.045094). Here a colourful floor painting (Floral?) that suits the optimism of the city.

The photo on the front page is a reflection in one of the shop windows on Woodward Avenue, opposite the Campus Martius Park. (coordinates: 42.331402, -83.047045)
In the reflection behind the giant ant we see the "Ally Detroit Center" and the building on "660 Woodward Ave".
