Photographer's Note
From the outer hallway, above the door that leads to the City Mayor's Office, you will find this original clock sorrounded by intricate Rennaisance design framed by a bas reliefed corinthian square columns and capitals. Above it is a classical entablature with the name of the mayor. James Rolph Jr. is the San Francisco Mayor who built the city hall. James Rolph, Jr. (August 23, 1869 June 2, 1934) was a U.S. politician and a member of the Republican Party. He served one term as the 27th Governor of California from January 6, 1931 until his death.
