Photographer's Note

This is a photo of many that I took at the Silver Falls State Park. The park has 11 or so waterfalls and hiking trails for all to enjoy. This was taken in Winter just before the snowfall although I did get hailed on during my hike a few times. There are about 9 miles of trails in which you hike to see all the different falls. During the Summer this is a great place to come and cool off from the heat. The Falls are only about a 45 minute drive East of our State Capitol Salem, Oregon and about an hour and a half from my house. At anytime of year this is a
beautiful and magical place to be.

No real processing done on this photo. I have a bit of over exposure on the grayish sky and not really sure how to tone it down in photoshop yet. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. I sharpened the photo a bit for posting.

Take care!
