Photographer's Note

Our visit to Willandra National Park was just after rain so we weren't able to explore far from the main complex. There were only us and one other person in the park and on our last day the other person joined us to try to reach a lagoon with lots of wild life.
The road was very sticky clay and eventually we got bogged. Luckily my car does have low range 4WD and eventually we got it out of the bog, gave up our exploration and drove back off the road.

Best in the large view.
Here is the splattered car after we got out. Being the only people in the place at the time meant that we could have been in deep trouble as there was no mobile coverage in the area.
