Macaws, a photo from Queensland, East

Photographer's Note

This time a pair of Macaws, also native to South and central America. There are over 22 species and the b&w markings on the faces of the blue and yellow macaw depicted here are as individual as a fingerprint. Macaws are in the parrot family, the same as cockatoos and galahs in Australia.

Hi Chris.

A beautiful wall painting depicting exotic birds of the northern region must look impressive in real. The tall trees behind the wall and the sky opening gives the frame more lively atmosphere. Well done, thanks for sharing.

Hello Chris,
Another couple of fantastic birds captured with very well saturated colours. The trees seen above the wall create an illusion of the birds being seen in their natural environment.

Another pair of very attractive birds, painted in bright colours and caught in a nice and bright sunlight. The trees also cast a nice pattern of shadows onto the bottom right hand corner.
