Photographer's Note

According to different versions of an old wives' tale a red sky in the morning is either a warning to sailors or a warning to shepherds. In fact neither needed a warning on this occasion as the weather was perfect all day.

The colours in this photo have not been further saturated. Taken at 7am at a location close to Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand's Hawkes Bay.
