Photographer's Note

Over the years as farming has become more mechanised and large scale many properties have been taken over and subsumed into neighbouring farms. The region is a propsperous wheat/sheep farming area.
That has left a lot of farm houses and shearing sheds abandoned. This photo was taken on a farm near the town of Temora, a town where I used to live. The building on the right is an old shearing shed.
Temora, unlike the other towns in this series is prosperous and still has the railway. The closed branch lines to the other towns started there.
