Photographer's Note

The Bolivian side also has a geyser field called Sol de Maana (Morning Sun), a desert area with intense volcanic activity at 4850 meters above sea level. The fumaroles here can reach heights of 10 to 50 meters, due to the pressure with which they are emitted. However, as I've been here at the end of the morning, there was only a small fumarole coming out of the cracks on the floor.
