Photographer's Note

Here is the TE Beta version, please click the link to see it in better detail MASSIVE FORMATION.

As i promised, here is another Drone photo from Iceland.

The top portions in the sky are not very clear because of the strong light, but please try and forgive that :)

This Volcanoe or Glacier, i'm honestly not sure which is correct, is simply the largest natural forming geological single piece of rock I have EVER seen. I'm not counting the Grand Canyon because that's erosion, where as this is protruding upwards and outwards.

Hopefully the photo can show that. I flew my drone over 1500 ft to get this photo, and as you can see I STILL couldn't fit the entire formation in the frame.

If you look very closely, and I mean very closely, preferably on the TE Beta photo, you can spot my grey car on the bottom of the frame, 2/3'rds of the way to the left. At the spot where the 2 dirt roads break off into different directions from the main road. Can you see my car?? its VERY tiny

That's the spot where i'm flying my drone, and it's incredible how massive this piece of rock is when you're standing down there. I would say its about 2000 feet tall, easy, and god only knows how long and deep it is. I wanted to fly Over it, but the drone can only go so high. At 1500 feet, it just couldn't go any higher.

Please look at the WS photo to see the very unusual bottom half more clearly, as it sweeps downward like a slide.

And as for the MAP feature, I couldn't fit the precise location, but its in the south, after VIK and before the famous Icebergs of Jokulsarlon.

I hope you appreciate the scale and the enormity of this beast. Again, Iceland is such a wonderous country, filled with beautiful natural formations, please take the time to visit if you have the opportunity.
