Photographer's Note

Buckingham Fountain and Chicago Skyline, Oct 26, 2005 at dusk. Shortly after this, the fourth game of the World Series Championship (baseball) started in Houston between Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros. The Sox won the championship and Chicago as a city is just smiling. Today (Oct. 28), a big ticker tape parade and rally will be held in downtown to welcome the world champions ... this city has not had a World Series champion since 1917, the last time the Sox won it. (The other baseball team, the Cubs has not brought the championship since 1908.) Hoping to take some photographs of the parade at least.

I did not attempt to correct the perspective aberration on this photograph because I liked the effect of the wide angle lens - with the buildings leaning toward the light in the sky and the dramatic clouds, it looks like everything is being sucked into the light in the center.

Not much post processing done.
