Casa Batlo Roof Photo

Photographer's Note

It was a rewarding afternoon, all the clouds had vanished and there was an unbelieveble light . So I chose that time in order to climb on the roof of the famous Casa Batlo, another gem for Gaudi lovers. Due to the direction of the sun at that hour I believe that I chose a good angle in order to show what these intricate chimneys looked like.

Tr鑚 originale, cette architecture... sans indication de pays, j'aurais eu beaucoup de mal � la situer.
La lumi鑽e est vraiment belle, le coucher de soleil, sans doute..

Hello Izzet. Another nice exploration of Gaud�-esque rooftop shapes. Gorgeous light indeed that brings a warming aspect to the intricate and colorful artwork, and again there is a single hovering cloud adding intrerest and diversion in the background. Beautiful shot. Some day when I have time, I need to find a similar shot to add to the BCN album on my photo site.

The light!!! This classical composition!!!
Is good.
I must confess that I don't like very much Gaudi (when you life in a city where you see Gaudi's work everywhere, you can be bored of Gaudi). But I see these photos I would like be there.
I can see also simplicity in the photo. But looks really interesting.

Izzet I gather this kind of design is distinctive of Barcelona. I looked up Gaudi in google and found an architech named Antoni Gaudi who is known for many buildings in Spain.
Its always interesting to see original creations like this on rooftops. Kind of a creative custom with interesting designs to draw attention to neighbours. And you certainly did manage capturing this from a good angle of lighting too. Good work and thanks for bringing creative work to trek earth.
