Photographer's Note

This is the Crown Fountain installation at Chicago's Millennium Park designed by Jaume Plensa. The main features are these two fifty-foot block of glass on which faces of ordinary Chicagoans are projected on a giant LCD screen. During the warmer months, water cascades over the block and the granite floor is covered with about a half inch of water creating an illusion that it is deep but you can walk on it. Every fifteen minutes or so, the face purses its lips and out spout water. Always an attraction to kids.
