The Turkish text at the top translates to 'nature's sweetest gift' (le plus doux cadeau de la nature), so I am going to go with icecream. For a moment I thought it was a whalebone but quickly ruled that out. Good motion blur and a nice catch of the bg painting mirroring the scene in front in real life. It may not be technically perfect, but mood and impact is everything. Tfs!

Three nicely different and original photos, more fun than another waterfall and telling us more about Iceland. For all colours and details the main photo was the best choice. I see these herrings were meant for many foreign markets, including Sweden (Abbas matjessill; nothing to do with music group ABBA).
I like herring, and I like these photos.

Maybe there was a noise from the waterfall, but it makes an impression of a quiet part of the forest. It shouldn't be difficult to cross this narrow river as long as you watch your step. Perfect exposure and good sharpness for a slow, handheld picture.

This is a much nicer scene than an industrial landscape even though the old house is dilapidated and in need of repairs. It has loads of character and the red tile roof contrasts well with the blue sky. Good sharpness too. Tfs!

Hello Chris,
It seems that all photos from ﾅlesund look good, regardless of weather and angle. A part of the city makes a fine background, whereas the green and yellowish statue and the red and black telephone booth brighten the foreground. Was there actually a functioning telephone inside it as recently as 2014? Anyway, the 2-3 remaining ancient booths in Stockholm are prettier. ;-)
