Ciao dear Lisa! But how can this be that places get to the UNESCO World Heritage Listing and with the next Government change they can de-list it how ever they want it, what is the use of such listings at all? Okay I am being nave, don't laugh at me. Oh boy, I feel with you, this would drive me up the walls as well and as it is WORLD HERITAGE, well here we go, it is ours, it belongs to this world. We had the chance to be in the listing too with a mountain chain I look at from my cottage window. They did not want it because it would have limited them with new building activities. All business. Scary. Hugs from Switzerland, Barbara xxx

An incredibly strong photograph! You wonder who would play basektball in this place, too hot to get out of the caravan during the day, too isolated to get a cheerful group together that builds a whole team. I can easily imagine how it is to be out here when the sun reaches its zenith, how you broil inside the caravan. Very artistic indeed, well done.

Hello Philippe! I have been to this place and I find it is a detour that pays out. Also the land around is very beautiful with the farmland. The foreground is very typical to this area, it also looks very dry, I wouldn't want to make a fire and this reminds me that they had a lot of wildfires. I was also in Colorado when you were there (house sitting). Lovely shot, I like the natural foreground a lot although as you point out, the sand dunes are not that obvious :))) Best, Barbara.

Hello Korkut! Art can do both to me, it can refresh me and I return strong and powerful and it can also leave me empty and I think what was that whereas others probably return refreshed. I once visited a museum and there was a little group that discussed one painting. One hour later they were still standing there discussing the same painting. I would not go THAT far ... LOL ... Excellent presentation that works wonderfully with your text. Best wishes, Barbara.

Hi Matt! A powerful image and I would think that the half side approach fits the purpose of the earth day wonderfully because maybe we also only do it half or not even half, in fact we mostly do not much. Flying around the globe for example - as most or many TEers do, including me - at least once a year, if we would stop that, this would HELP more than switching off the light for half an hour but - including me - this does not fit our life style. We have only one life and - including me - we want to see as much as we can. You can do these self tests how much you save energy, maybe it is also through the WFF. It turns out that many do not that bad but it is always the airplanes we take that use the most energy. So I guess TE is probably the right place to begin with ... LOL ... Speaking about me, I only use the light where I am at the very moment but using the internet (I switched it on an hour ago) this again uses energy, a lot of energy ... Never the less, it is good to think about it every once in a while, also thinking what we really want ... GREAT shot, it is a favorite for sure. Best wishes, Barbara

Hi Fred! LOL ... You made my evening! This photo makes me LAUGH! A little "house bag" for the rabit. Normally girls carry Barbi + Ken or their first makeup, okay little animals are also what girls like but the nice pink bag and the sweater to make it soft and comfortable, this is very funny. Wonder what her mother thought :)))) Best wishes, Barbara.

Hello May! Next week I will be in Bologna myself!!! Sometimes it is really funny how things go, I really had to look twice when I saw that you took this photo in Bologna. Thank you so much for this incredible tip and this VERY beautfiul photo. Excellent color management, the right amount of pushing the colors, and yet it still looks very natural. Well done. Best, Barbara.

Salut Nicou! These were just horrible days, I will certainly never forget them. I am glad that you have posted this photo reminding us how precious life is and that so easly something can happen changing things from one day to the other. Loosing a child, this is simply beyond words. It will change the life of these families forever. Amicalement, Barbara.

Salut Frederic! Oh dear, she looks not very happy. Funny also that she somehow does not fit the scene of a party crowd ... but sometimes we are surprised and behind someone that we think she or he might be a little old-fashioned or something, that they turn out to be pretty crazy. I like that she is the only thing sharp, an "island" for the eyes in the middle of chaos. Excellent approach, it makes it very interesting and different this way. Have a lovely afternoon, Barbara.

Salut Frederic! During my last visit to Paris, I was falling in love with these steps myself looking to the other side of the Seine watching the people and how they enjoyed relaxing near the water. But sometimes we forget among all the laughter that not everybody is always in the mood to be funny. Yes it has a melancholic side by the way he hides his face, the little color makes it even more un peu triste. These moments, isn't it, they make THE difference. Well seen and presented. Best wishes + good night, Barbara
