Clark, I would bet we cross paths on the Alpine loop many times. It is one of my favorite places to be on saturday mornings. What makes this frame good is the contrast of light and shadow along the trees and mountain ridges, and the clouds are great also. Keep up the good work.

Clark, I especially like your foreground here. The submerged granite rocks add interest to your composition. And yes, the moon above the peak is good too. It is good to see that there is still some water in the lake up there. I plan on hiking up there one more time this year, and was wondering if it was dry yet. Keep shooting, Deeb.

Clark, this is very nice. I am very excited to get up there now! The frame is particularly vibrant and colorful, I think the diagonal lines of the hillside and shadow from the pine tree add interest to this shot also. My ten-year-old son and I will be up there in the dark waiting for the sunrise saturday morning. Hopefully we can get some great shots like this. Deeb.

Hi Clark, It looks like you made it up to the Uintas. I really like this shot, especially vibrant with the reflection and green lily pads. Too bad the clouds have all abandoned you when you shot this. Butterfly lake is a great place to shoot sunsets from, with a calm lake like this and just a few clouds lit up at sundown, it can be spectacular. I will have to see if you have posted any other photos from your trip. Keep shootin. Deeb.

Dana, This is a great shot. Good flow of color and motion and unique point of view. I would guess this shot would do well on the KSL.com photo contest about local weather. (You could win a canon camera). Keep up the good work, I have learned much from the information in your posts and the striking images you have here at TE.

Ryan, This is a beautiful and sweet. I love the contrasts in color and texture. I notice that you have been doing some traveling, and it looks like you have made the most of the scenary with your 30D. This is a very nice photo. Deeb.

Hi Ryan, I have been away far too long from this site, and was very pleasantly surprised to see that you have not only added new images, but have increased the dramatic impact I have come to expect from your work. This composition is wonderfully and beautifully dramatic. Breaking the rules never looked so good. Always and again, you impress us. Thanks for sharing. Deeb.

Gregory, This frame is unique in that the picket fence foreground is almost palpable. It seems that you can reach out and feel the texture of the wood. That and the fence angling toward the cabin on the left lead us to the cabin. I just really like the texture and feel of this shot. Thanks for sharing this.
