Hello dear Lisa, Keep up the action and voice against such destruction and shortsightedness. It is rather bizarre that there are so many restrictions on approaching whales etc and yet they allow such shocking dumping of waste! This is a great shot- i love the aerial approach. I hope you got some lovely rest and relaxation whilst in the beautiful reef zone :) regards Kathryn

This is a wonderful capture that works so well in the extended vertical format you have chosen. I love the colours of the facades and the reflections . I also like the way the utilitarian looking facades are contrasted with the ornate spires Great shot Thanks for sharing kathryn

Hello Ryszard, Thank you for sharing this photo of what most must consider a lost past time. In this day of mobile phones and instant communication via the internet there is something terribly poignant about homing pigeons and their journey. It made me smile that the birds beat the owners home :) I like the way the birds form a graceful arc which sweeps the eye through the image and the shutter speed you have chosen allows for some movement of their wings conveying their movement in flight Lovely capture regards kathryn

Ciao Silvio, A lovely shot so richly full of "Italy". The procession of tourists on the steps lead the eye up that lovely slope of steps and the gentleman lounging against the post makes an interesting focus where the eye naturally comes to rest. lovely work Thanks for sharing Kathryn

Hello Craig, A great photo and great accompanying note. Nowadays the queues are for the ATM machines, not the telephone! One of the things I loved about London were the great red phone booths which are so much a part of the city. Sadly many of the phones were often vandalised and the booth was often smelling more like a latrine than not. Still it would be very sad indeed if they were all taken away. I love the long afternoon shadows and the diagonal approach- that is also one heck of a door as a backdrop, Well realised composition. thanks for sharing Kathryn
