Really nice to see that you posted a photo again after such a long time. Very impressive Chancel with a lot of details to look at. Beautiful colours and very good sharpness taking into account that the lighting conditions might have not been perfect. TFS and have nice day!

To UlfE: lighting conditions
Thanks Ulf - actually, baroque churches are a lot lighter than gothic. What hampers me a little with my camera is that I only have 400 ISO, so shooting in low light requires a steady hand at longer shutter speed. I took a lot of pics inside churches during my holidays. Most of the time, I set the camera on a pew or other steady surface (my wife now has a Sony Alpha 350, and shoots circles around me!).
I noticed that there are not many pics from that area, which is somewhat surprising, since there are several grand monasteries a stone throw apart from one another. The entire Wachau Valley is just wonderful with great photo ops. Cheers Otto
