Great Urs 2010-07-10 21:17

Hi Alexandre

In contrast what some wrote I know that these light is normal for South East Asia and including Malaysia, as I work and live here since a long time. What is extraordinary, that the color hues look almost as if Olympus would be your camera that means, that your procession is excellent. Perhaps the picture should be a bit less bright, but I was not at the spot where you were. So you know better. Well composed with perfect settings. Well done.

About the copyright issues you mentioned in your introduction. One thing is certain - otherwise I would not be a TE member - all pix at this side can be used only on the web again, but for printing e.g. publishing in print media the quality is too low. I know because I'm a journalist writing features illustrated with my photographs for magazines and weeklies in Europe and U.S:

Best regards
Urs

Hello and thanks for your critique.

For your info, I pass by DxO as a first general postprocess to correct lens dfaults than I pass on photoshiop for the smaller details such as saturation of the colours and framing. I never used Olympus and I didn't have any clue of its image renedering.

South East Asia is a wonderfull region in terms of photography and you live some incredible moments. I would have loved to become a photojournalist several years before but ambition and education took over. It is a dream that can be nevertheless realized if I dedicate myself into it.

Have a great day,

Alexandre
