Great shot! I will honeymoon in Ireland in a few months. I'll have to do some research on this town. Your photo has intrigued me. Do you have any other reccomendations?

Default To RPoole5552: Congratulations :)

Adare is located near Limerick (city with one of the best pubs in Ireland, at the docks), and near the big Bunratty folkpark with many tatched cottages and with Bunratty Castle, of course :)

If you like beautiful landscapes - Dingle peninsula will be great, and you must go to Cliffs of Moher.

If you like historical places - you must visit Newgrange (the megalithic passage tomb older then Piramids of Egipt). You should see Pulnabrone dolmen on Burren and the Carrowmore megalithic cementary - all in County Sligo, place with a lot of dolmens and stone circles).

If you like hight crosses - you can visit Monasterboice or Clonmacnoise abbeys.

If you visit Dublin, you can go also on the fantastic trips organized by Bus Eireanne. One is to Newgrange, Monasterboice, and Mellifont Abbey, and second one is to scenic Wicklow Montains and to Powerscourt Gardens.

Small correction - Burren is in County Clare, Carrowmore in County Sligo.
