Default Panorama Stitching

I'm having troublel stitching photos in Photoshop. I'm getting diaganal lines where the photos "stitch" as well as color inconsistencies. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

For best results, use something else - I use PTgui, which is fairly complex but very powerful.

Another, altogether far simpler, yet extremely effective option is:
AutoStitch

Finally the heavyweight is Stitcher - which is so expensive I haven't even tried it!

Find Autostitch on the net. It's a free download and very good. It is simple and successful blends edges quite well.
