Wow! I must go some year with plenty of camera gear. You really caught these folks in the act. Were you using a fill flash or wide aperature, high ISO combination? Either way, this is an excellent shot.

I had lots of problems with my flashlight. I致e got external flashlight but when I was taking this particular shot, all my batteries (12) where out of energy. So I had to take it with internal flash, which is not too strong, and finally this picture is underexposure.

I just saw some big (25,000 and 50,000) mega led flashlights on sell at several department stores. They would have as much power as professional lights for film sets... they might even require less color balancing than standard tungstens. They were less than $50 too. They would be perfect for this sort of thing.
