Hi Richard! You're letting this series out slowly!
I like the washed-out effect - it gets the mood you want, and also the crisp post-box. I'm not entirely sure about the combination of the two styles: not that it isn't attractive, but I find it sapping the attention away from the image itself.

Pressure of work I'm afraid.
As for your critique, I wish I could replicate the old panchromatic film to get the look but I've tried blue filtration, odd channel mixing even an uncoated Nikkor, all to no avail. As soon as I can find a black stocking that doesn't soften the image I'll get it right.
