Another one who uses *'s for rating photo's
I'm not saying this to hurt you, but I can't imagine who learns anything from seeing 5 *'s for a typical element in a photo.

What will nick learn from composition *****
subject ***** ?

NO offence, but I think people can learn more from words telling about the composition..or telling about how nice a subject is..or how good colours are..or maybe if there is a haze over the photo..or where sharpness is lacking.

Overall aesthetics *****..sorry..but I wouldn't like to see this on my photo's, cause it won't learn me anything..besides that you like the photo.

Again, I'm not confronting or insulting you, but I see these stars more and more, and I can come in to the reason of use (being not so good in English, for example..)..but well..as said..it's not really learning.
In general I don't mark these critiques useful..In fact, I never did.

i don't teach something to members of TE and i am not master of photography..i'm just amatuer and photography is one of my hobby..don't care about my *'s evaluation:)cheers
