Great mkamionka 2021-06-23 4:46

Hi Jorge,
I spent most of my life in Europe and some in North America. So I am mainly able to recognize apples, potatoes, wheat etc
Recently on Madeira we had a very well orientated taxi driver who showed us so many plants we know but which we have never seen. He also mentioned many more which should be seen along the hike but we were not able to find or recognize them.
I have never seen papaya neither. Except for fruits in supermarket :)

It seems viruses are destroying not only the human world but also the one of papayas :(

Very interesting reportage,
M

I remember a taxi driver of the island showing such plants and my father said him to not spoil his words with us, because we knew them much more than him. kkk
