Great Royaldevon 2021-06-12 2:58

Hello Jorge,

This must be a first, as a street photograph!
I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for the clowns because they were trying a possible method of raising much-needed money or whether to be indignant that they are endangering the safety on the road, by taking advantage of the situation!
Whatever, this does make a colourful and quite intriguing photograph!

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Default To ChrisJ: Ananas-banana

Hi Chris,
I found an interesting guide to the fruit of Madeira:
https://blog.madeira.best/25-fruits-of-madeira-island
The long green one at the back left for example is called delicious fruit or ananas-banana (Monstera deliciosa).
Kind regards,
M

Default Exotic fruits

Hi M

We used to have a Monstera deliciosa (fruit salad plant) growing in the back yard and they are common as an ornamental plant all over sub tropical Brisbane. They taste like a pineapple or kiwifruit. The one in the front that looks like a pomelo was the one I wasn't sure about. The anona are known as custard apple here.

Cheers!
