Great Royaldevon 2020-08-13 2:16

Hello James,

This immediately attracted my attention because of the tall, unusual chimney. My husband and I once decided to photograph chimneys, just to ascertain the size and variety of shapes, and though we began ... we never seriously recorded them! Dam!

This is a very well exposed photograph, rich in colours and with the chimney (the focal point) strongly placed against the sky.
Did you use a polarising filter?

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Thanks for looking and commenting.
If you do ever follow through on your chimney project, Lastovo is the place to be!
And yes, I did use a polarising filter - went through a bit of a phase a few years ago - helps with bright midday light (sometimes...).
Kind regards,
James
