Hello Ghost Cat
Another from your fantastic set of industrial monochromes. Very unusual these days on TE, and all the more welcome for it. The tern "gritty" was coined for these photographs. I'd love to know how you gained access to these mines and factories. This image is no doubt a grab shot, but it's still beautifully framed and composed, with the smiling young miner at centre-stage. Flash used, maybe? Great stuff!
