Hey Miss Maria,
It's far too arid in the desert, these rocks are completely dry unless a storm rolls through...but the heat usually returns everything back to normal pretty quick. People are people though, they'll still find a way to slip and fall!?  Yeah, Red Rock Canyon is just on the edges of the city...it's only about a 30 minute drive from The Strip...if you can catch most of the traffic lights green anyway. lol I came straight home from work today to watch Les Bleus. So happy. Now, if the U.S. can pull off the upset tomorrow, I'll really be excited! I won't jinx your....errr, uhhmmmm.......hmmm, yeah...."those guys" until the next match is over. Good luck!
