Hello Malgo,
The paintings are very cleverly made with a good 3D effect, and the couple add the human touch that the photo needed. I think there would have been possibilities for a drastic crop here. There is a lot of staircase that doesn't mean much for the composition, and we could also have done without some of the wall above the painting. Cropping like this would bring the painting and people closer to us and the proportions of the photo would have been better. Please see my WS.
Kind regards,

Dear Gert,

Thank you for assuring me that it is a well-processed photo! On my calibrated monitor it doesn't look over-processed, but on my cellphone's monitor its a bit vivid. Maybe the man, who wrote the critique used a samsung phone, famous for the incredibly vivid screens.

I googled the Malian Franc and it was succeeded by the Western African Franc in 1984. At the present 1 worth 653 WAF. Of course it doesn't tell anything exact about the rates 38 years ago, but I guess that the 1982 Swedish Korna was changed in a similar ratio. I have an economist Bsc degree too, but correcting the exchange rate with the inflation exceeds my abilities.

Best Wishes,
